MATRICULATION LETTER

1. I want to change my study course; does it affect my residence permit procedure?  

Should you decide to change your major while your resident permit for studies procedure is in process, kindly forward your new matriculation letter at your earliest convenience to us. This will enable us to promptly inform the Foreigners Office, given that your file has already been submitted (Berlin) or that we can check it before any appointment (Potsdam)

If you decide to change your study course after receiving the resident permit for your studies, please be advised that you are required to personally contact the Foreigners Office to inform them about the altered study duration and course.
