1. Which bank is not accepted by the Immigration office?

For Berlin: The blocked accounts from KOTAK are not accepted by the Immigration office in BERLIN because Kotak does not keep your money blocked.

If you have initially opened a Kotak blocked account, transfer the whole amount directly to another blocked account. If you didn’t know and started using money from the Kotak blocked amount, you can deduct the monthly payouts that would be paid out to you from a standard blocked account and transfer the rest of the amount to another blocked account in order to receive a new blocked amount confirmation. Then upload this new blocked amount confirmation together with your initial Kotak blocked amount confirmation to SERS portal.

For Potsdam: The blocked accounts from N26 are not accepted by the Immigration office in POTSDAM.
