How long will be the validity of the resident permit?

For Berlin: The validity of the resident permit will be in general until the end of your studies which is stated on your matriculation letter.

For Potsdam: The validity of the resident permit depends on different aspects: the duration of your studies, your financial means, your rental contract etc. The duration is individually decided by the Immigration Office decision makers on a case-by-case evaluation.
