Can I travel while I applied for a residence permit for studies?

You can travel while waiting for the decision of the Foreigners Office about your case within your current visa/resident permit validity/free 90 days. 

If however your visa/ residence permit runs out, you can not travel out of Germany as you would not be able to come back.

If you want to travel, please make sure that it is in the visa/residence permit time. 

If there is an urgency and you have already bought your tickets, please send your tickets directly with your request to us. 

Please note that there is never a guarantee that the immigration office can prioritise your case just on the grounds of travel tickets.

We can not ask for ficitonal certificates in general.

If we invite you and you are not here, send us the flight ticket so that we can ask for a new one NO GUARANTEE that the immigration office will change the appoitnment date.
